Postgraduate Diploma in Theology
The PGDipTheol is an alternative to the Bachelor of Theology (Honours). You may take it over a longer period of part-time study than the BTheol(Hons). You may also use it as an entry qualification for the Master of Theology if your grades are sufficiently high.

Proposed changes for 2014
From 2014 the subject Theology will replace the three separate subjects currently available for the PGDipTheol (Biblical Studies, Christian Thought and History, and Practical Theology). These subject areas will be covered by courses in Theology. This change is currently subject to approval for 2014.
- A Bachelor of Theology or an approved equivalent qualification.
- You must have passed the specified courses required for one of the PGDipTheol subjects.
- Admission must be approved by the Head of the School of Theology.

120 points of 700-level postgraduate courses as specified for your subject, including core courses and a research essay. You may be able to include up to 30 points in 700-level courses from other University subjects.
