Master of Creative Writing (MCW)

The Master of Creative Writing is for students with literary potential who want to undertake a challenging writing project. See more about Creative Writing.

Admission requirements
  • A four-year bachelors degree; or
  • A bachelors honours degree; or
  • A bachelors degree combined with: either a professional qualification equivalent to one year’s advanced study or at least three years of relevant professional experience.

Applicants must also submit a portfolio of creative writing judged to be of sufficient standard for admission to the programme, and have evident potential from achievement in their qualifying degree or professional writing experience.

One year full-time. Part-time study is not available.

All students enrol in CREWRIT 797 Creative Writing (120 points).
