“I'm originally from Galicia (North West of Spain) and my experience as a student at The University of Auckland has been great. I found it very challenging because of the amount of work involved but also very rewarding when you realise the amount of work you are capable of doing.

“Throughout my time as a PhD student I've been really impressed by the resources that are available to students. The library is amazing and the various PhD workshops offered at the Student Learning Centre have been very useful. There are also so many social events organised for postgraduate students.

“When I graduate I would like to work as a lecturer at a university and I'm sure that all the experience I've gained from my years at The University of Auckland will be very beneficial for my future career.”
