Our MA drama students have access to shoot on our RED camera. This is a fully featured digital cinematography camera is at the forefront of digital acquisition, ultra-high resolution four times the level of HD making it a suitable contender for transfer to 35mm film. Now being used extensively to shoot major multi-million dollar Hollywood productions, this camera allows the students to finish their major project on anything from DVD to a film print.

Our RED camera is up there with the best in terms of equipment so that students can walk out on set with a kit that any fully-funded feature would be satisfied with.

Our MA documentary students and BA(Hons) drama students shoot on our Brand new Sony EX-3 full HD cameras. Lighter, and more portable than the RED, these top-of-the-range cameras offer great production values while still meeting the needs of a documentary directors and smaller drama shoots.

We also provide a range of excellent smaller HD cameras, a dolly, a jib arm, and professional standard lighting and sound packages for our MA and BA(Hons) level students.

In post-production, we have 8 Mac Pro edit suites equipped with Final Cut Pro and After Effects.
