Take a look at the relationships the Screen Production staff have with the New Zealand film and television industry.
The subject Screen Production is located within the Department of Film, Television and Media Studies.
Screen Production provides an intensive, film school-style experience for future writers, directors and producers of drama and documentary films.
We are the leading graduate-level production programme in New Zealand. Student works have screened at major international film festivals, including Venice, London and New York, and are regularly included in the New Zealand International Film Festival. We are proud of our close relationship with industry, as evidenced by our Industry Board of Advisors and the high percentage of graduates who have successfully secured work in the industry.
You will be taught by staff who are practising film-makers and will take courses which are closely informed by trends in the industry. This industry interface is strengthened by guest lecturers and supervisors from the film industry who serve as consultants on students' final projects.
You can see staff and student work at the Screen Production YouTube channel.
