Psychology
Psychology studies how people, and sometimes animals, think, feel and behave.
In Psychology you will study the brain and how it works. You will investigate personality, intelligence, how people respond to everyday and unusual events, and why some people suffer from mental health disorders.
Psychology and your career
A qualification in Psychology can lead to careers in mental health, research, industry and marketing, education or counselling. Many areas require skills in assessment and testing and you can acquire these from specialised postgraduate programmes.
Study options in Psychology
Psychology is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Arts, and is taught within the Faculty of Science by the School of Psychology.
