There are various sources of financial assistance to help you fund your research.
Postgraduate Research Student Support (PReSS) accounts
These are an annual stipend for all University of Auckland doctoral students. Funding in a PReSS account is for direct research costs.

Faculty of Arts Doctoral Research Fund
In addition to PReSS account funds, you may apply for funding from the faculty’s Doctoral Research Fund.
Faculty of Arts Summer Scholarships
Each year the Faculty of Arts offers Summer Scholarships to high-achieving students who want to pursue postgraduate study.
Faculty of Arts Graduate Scholarships Adviser
Dr Anne Scott provides information and assistance with scholarship applications on an individual basis.
