About the series

The Centre of Methods and Policy Application in the Social Sciences (COMPASS) Technical Report series is intended to provide details of a more descriptive and technical nature about projects that COMPASS staff have been involved with. These reports should be seen as resource documents providing descriptive and technical background information about projects rather than as papers being prepared for academic publication and are intended for use by interested parties. They have all been peer-reviewed and in most instances co-published with external agencies.
