Associate Dean (Research)
Professor Thegn Ladefoged is responsible for assisting the Dean in overseeing and fostering research activities in the Faculty or Arts. He is Chair of the Faculty Research Committee and responsible for the Faculty's Research Development Fund and PhD Research Fund, Summer Scholarships, and for staff mentoring for Marsden applications. He is also responsible for the Faculty's preparation for the forthcoming PBRF round.

Faculty of Arts Research Development Manager
The role of the Research Development Manager, Dr Lynette Read, is to support research development in the faculty and to assist in increasing the faculty’s research capability and level of excellence in research. Dr Read is available to advise staff on research planning and the development of grant applications. She is also responsible for facilitating the development of cross-faculty thematic research on Indigenous Knowledges, Peoples and Identities.
