Research
We have more than twenty full-time academic staff who have expertise in most of the major European cultural and literary traditions. These staff members conduct research in a wide range of areas, including:
- language teaching
- literature
- film
- theatre
- culture.
Many of our staff also focus on cross-cultural and interdisciplinary studies.
Research Centres
As well as research within School Departments and programmes we host three research centres:
- New Zealand Centre for Latin American Studies
- The Pacific French Research Centre
- The Research Centre for Germanic Connections with New Zealand and the Pacific
