Postgraduate students

New Zealand has a growing need for highly qualified people with relevant skills in Asian Studies. This means that postgraduate student from the School of Asian Studies will be in high demand in the employment sector.

The University of Auckland has the largest and most comprehensive Asian Studies department in the country.

We also have a number of specialised services that support our postgraduate students. This includes the Asian Studies Collection in the University library, which has an impressive of resources in Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

The School of Asian Studies also publishes the Graduate Journal of Asia-Pacific Studies, a peer-reviewed electronic journal that provides a unique opportunity for postgraduate students to publish and showcase their research.
