ArchSoc: Auckland Archaeological Society

The Auckland Archaeological Society (ArchSoc) is a student run organisation at The University of Auckland committed to archaeological research and education.

The Society is open to students, professional archaeologists and the general public.
 

What does ArchSoc do?

We hold monthly meetings and lectures on a large range of archaeological topics and sponsor periodic social events.

How much does it cost to join?

Membership dues are $10 annually.

Members receive a monthly e-newsletter with information on meetings, speakers, events, volunteer excavations and more.

How do I become a member?

Sign up at any regular Society meeting or at the Annual Auckland Archaeological Society BBQ held at the beginning of each academic year.

Alternatively, you can join by posting your contact details in addition to the annual dues to:

How can I get more involved?

Executive committee elections are held at the first meeting of each academic year. There are four regular positions available including: president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.
