We offer a range of specialist programmes for postgraduate students. You can study language teaching and learning from the perspective of learners, teachers and policy makers. Our postgraduate programmes in language teaching and learning attract students from all over the world.
Study information for Language Teaching and Learning
We offer a comprehensive programme in Linguistics, from Bachelor of Arts through to PhD. Our teaching and research cover the major aspects of linguistics theory. We study linguistics in English and other Germanic languages, Russian, Chinese, and the languages of Indonesia, Melanesia and Polynesia.
Study information for Linguistics
We teach courses in Academic English Studies (ACADENG) for students who speak English as an additional language. ACADENG courses emphasise the English skills and strategies needed for University study.
