Rob Tedesco jted002@aucklanduni.ac.nz I am studying the formation of the symphony orchestra and the funding methods for it. My research will focus on the Auckland Philharmonia. I will look at the history of the ensemble and how it has dealt with the growth and change of Auckland during the orchestras 30 year history. I will also focus on the APO's new education program, Sistema Aotearoa, and what this means for the city as a whole.
