Study options in Christian Thought and History
The study of Christian thought focuses on systematic theology. You will come to grips with complex and ancient texts, reflect on the insights of past and present theologians, and connect these with our present world.
Christian history offers another way to access theology, through exploring events, stories and people. Christian history also provokes thought about how we should live and behave in the present.
Christian Thought and History is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Theology, and is taught by the School of Theology.
Proposed changes for 2014
From 2014 Christian Thought and History will become part of the subject Theology. Although no longer a separate subject, you will be able to study Christian thought and history as part of Theology. (This change is currently subject to approval for 2014.)
