Support

Support staff are available at the Arts Labs Helpdesk in the Human Sciences Building Room 154 during undergraduate lab opening hours. The Helpdesk is on ground level, entry off Wynyard Street, and adjacent to the HSB 151 self-access lab.

You may borrow headphones, course-related CDs, external drives, dictionaries and a thesaurus from the Helpdesk for lab use.

During peak times of the day, support staff have to restrict assistance to five minutes so they can assist everyone who needs help.

Departments provide further training in specialist software if they require work in those applications. Training in general software applications is provided by the Student Learning Centre.
