Research Interests

Maori development, representation policy.

Current Research


Ann Sullivan is Ngapuhi.  She has a PhD in Political Science.  Her main research and teaching interests are in the field on Maori Politics and Public Policy.  Prior to her appointment to the Department of Maori Studies, Ann taught in the Politics Department at the University of Waikato.


 

Her main research interests are Maori Politics and public policy.  These include Maori representation, participation and voting behaviour, Maori development and contemporary issues and public policies,  indigenous rights,  local government and governance issues.
