Biography

Hossein Aghapouri (also known as Jiyar Aghapouri) is a Ph.D. candidate in Politics and International Relations. In addition to his Graduate Teaching position at the University of Auckland, he is conducting researches on the Middle East politics, online diaspora, and the Kurdish nationalism. His PhD research is about “Kurdish diaspora online: articulation of a sateless national identity.”
