Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Postgraduate Diploma in Arts in Screen Production

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Postgraduate Diploma in Arts are short postgraduate programmes that aim to further your individual and group learning skills.

During these one-year programmes you can expect an intensive individual and group learning experience. We start with basic production management, shot composition and editing, and then take you through interviewing documentary subjects to advanced blocking and camera movement. You will direct actors in front of the class, pitch documentary ideas and cut trailers. You will also learn how to use editing software such as EP Scheduling and Final Draft.

You will finish the year with a creative project. Depending on your area of focus, you will complete your own 10-minute short film or documentary, and/or write a feature screenplay.
