Conflict and Terrorism Studies

Conflict and Terrorism Studies looks at both the causes of terrorism and conflict, and ways to resolve them.

The world is currently afflicted by many forms of political violence, from civil war and mass killings in the name of religion and ideology, to the radicalisation of people for terrorism.

What can I study?

In the Master of Conflict and Terrorism Studies (MCTS) you will study the causes, dynamics and consequences of this violence, and explore practical and ethical approaches to its prevention and resolution.

Where can it take me?

You can prepare for careers in government and security, international organisations, policymaking, peacekeeping, and post-conflict government and development.
