You can pursue study and research in literary studies, drama, cultural and critical theory, critical and creative writing.

You can also extend methodological skills and follow up particular interests through coursework. You can work with scholars actively engaged with literary, cultural and creative studies.

A postgraduate degree in English can give you a high level of cultural fluency based on the study of literature from many periods and perspectives. You can develop advanced skills in writing, analysis and critical thinking. These adaptive skills are needed in many careers, organisations and consultancies.
