Prudentia

Prudentia has been published by Classics and Ancient History for more than 40 years.

Prudentia is a journal devoted to the thought, literature and history of the ancient world, and to their traditions.

Prudentia was founded in 1969 by Gavin Ardley and B.F. Harris. It is published twice yearly, in May and November, by staff from Philosophy, Classics and Ancient History at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
