“I like the wide range of courses available within the two subjects, which has helped me to broaden my knowledge while also discovering which fields I am interested in specialising in.

“Being a student in the Faculty of Arts is really enjoyable. I have found the staff to be very knowledgeable and approachable, and I have always felt that I had the support available for any problems that I may be experiencing.

“The student lifestyle at the University of Auckland is exciting and fun; there is always something happening that people can participate in. There are a variety of clubs and associations to join, so that no matter what your hobbies or passions may be you will find something that interests you.

“Through the University I have participated in a range of exciting extracurricular activities, from learning how to make pasta to hiking through the Karekare Falls.  There are so many opportunities offered to students at the University, which makes the student lifestyle interesting and vibrant.”
