Our faculty
The Faculty of Arts is the home of the humanities, social sciences, languages and indigenous studies at the University of Auckland.
We have been internationally recognised as New Zealand's leading arts faculty in the QS World University Rankings by Faculty 2017, which placed us 25th in the world for arts and humanities.
We are proud to be home to Archaeology — the University of Auckland's highest-ranked subject.
We were first in New Zealand in 11 of the 12 Arts subjects ranked by QS in 2017.
