The Faculty of Arts is the home of the humanities, social sciences, languages and indigenous studies at the University of Auckland.
We have been internationally recognised as New Zealand's leading arts faculty in the QS World University Rankings by Faculty 2015/16, which placed us in the world's top 40.
We are proud to be home to Archaeology — the University of Auckland's highest-ranked subject in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2016.
Archaelogy was ranked 20th in the world, Development Studies 23rd, English Languages and Literatures 31st, Anthropology 49th, Linguistics 49th and Social Policy and Administration 49th.
