Elizabeth Ewing Memorial Scholarship in Adolescent and Young Adult Health
The Elizabeth Ewing Memorial Scholarship in Adolescent and Young Adult Health is awarded annually to a candidate who has enrolled and paid their fees, or arranged to pay their fees, for full-time study for an Honours, Masters or Doctoral degree.
One scholarship is awarded annually, for a period of one year, to the value of $5,000.
Preference will be given to a candidate whose field of research focuses on the psychosocial issues faced by adolescent and young adult patients and their family, in regard to their lived experience with a life threatening illness, such as cancer or a blood disorder.
Candidates may apply from a range of disciplines including (but not limited to): Health Science, Nursing, Psychology, Sociology, Medical Statistics and Anthropology.
