We are offering a four week Italian language course in a medieval village in Italy over Summer School.

The course will be taught on location in Mondavio for three hours every morning from Monday to Thursday, and on Fridays local tutors will take the class on field trips.

Afternoons, evenings and weekends will be dedicated to language learning and cultural activities, such as:

  • Visit to the Benelli motorbike factory
  • Visit to Piero Guidi bags
  • Visit to the Guerrieri biological farm
  • Visit to All Good Fossombrone handmade jewellery

Other activities include orienteering, a pizza labratory, a visit to a terracotta laboratory, a guided tour of Mondavio castle, a weekly Italian movie, and dinner with local host families. You can also take bus trips to Bologna, Firenze and Venezia.


This course will run from Monday 9 January to Friday 3 February 2017, plus travelling time.

To undertake this course you must be eligible to enrol in ITALIAN 177: Study Abroad 1.
