The Faculty of Arts recently gathered to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our staff and students at our annual Best of Arts event.

Introduced by Dean of Arts, Professor Robert Greenberg, and presided over by Master of Ceremonies extraordinaire Professor Tom Bishop, the evening recognised excellence in research and teaching, the hard work and dedication of our professional staff, and the tutoring and mentoring contributions and academic achievement of our students.

Those in attendance were also treated to a performance of the poem ‘Unity’ by Dr Selina Tusitala Marsh, which was commissioned for the Commonwealth Day Observance and performed in Westminster Abbey for an audience including the Queen earlier this year.
